Applications are available for three $3,000 It’s Our Community health care scholarships, funded by Community Health Network Foundation. High school seniors who have a primary residence in central Indiana and are committed to earning a health care degree at an Indiana college or university may apply. Three Community Scholars will be chosen based on academic performance, commitment to higher education, community service and school leadership. During the past seven years, $216,000 in It’s Our Community scholarships have been distributed to 72 students.

In a meeting held January 19, our board of directors announced Patricia Keiffner has been elected to chair the 2011-2012 board. She has volunteered service to the board for five years and is publisher/director for IBJ Custom Publishing and director of production for IBJ Media. She succeeds George Geiger, president of Shamrock Builder’s residential division, who led the board for the past two years.

Other elected appointments include:
